DTS OABE SL has been selected out of the nominees from around the world in the environment category and will compete for the award in the ceremony that will take place in San Francisco (California, EEUU) the 2nd and 3rd of November organized by the World Technology Network (WTN)
Their nomination comes for their lacquer insecticide witch doesn't contaminate. For this product they have won this year the European Business awards in Brussels, the National Award in Madrid and the Basque country award in Vitoria.
San Francisco (California, USA).- The company DTS OABE, with head office in Orozko (Vizcaya), is nominated for the most prestigious Environmental award. The company is finalist for the World Technology Awards 2006 organized by the World Technology Network (WTN) in San Francisco (California, USA) during the 2nd and 3rd of November
The nomination comes for their insecticide lacquer the doesn't contaminate (NUPILAC HIDRO) . This nomination comes after wining the European Business awards in Brussels, the National Award in Madrid and the Basque country award in Vitoria.
This product, that has been selected from out of more than 130 nominations from 23 European countries, reflects the commitment of this small company with sustainable development.
‘Nupilac Hidro’, is designed with the objective of reducing and even eliminating the environmental inconvenients of conventional lacquers . With no dermic o inhaling toxicity, not flammable and no gas emissions to the atmosphere. An important characteristic is the NUPILAC HIDRO may be applied in schools, hospitals and catering establishments with no need of closing once it's been applied.
The project presented by DTS OABE was awarded in the month of January by the Entorno Foundation witch organizes the Spanish scheme for the European Business awards. DTS-Oabe was selected from out of more than 75 Spanish companies.
The jury recognized that “the innovative aspect of this insecticide applied in a lacquer, which limits any cross-pollution, is not damaging to human health”, requires five times less insecticide, with no emissions of VOC’s and with long-term efficiency. There is a vast replication potential in particular in low toxicity environments like schools, hospitals and catering establishments.

Even though the company has been running for less than 3 years and only has 5 employees it has overrun important companies of the sector. Nupilac Hidro
The lacquer insecticide Nupilac Hidro was designed with the objective of reducing or eliminating the environmental inconveniences that conventional lacquers had, obtaining a persistent and effective insecticide , with no dermic or inhaling toxicity, not flammable, with no reentry period and no gas emissions to the atmosphere .
Te lacquer insecticides are a group of insecticide products that have been use in urban pest controls by professionals (33,17% of the insecticide market) . The lacquer have a series of advantages that other products don't like persistence, easy application and immediate effect. But they also have a series of inconveniences like dermic and inhaling toxicity of the solvents used, inflammability, the reentry period and the gas emissions to the atmosphere.
Nupilac Hidro was designed with the objective of maintaing the advantages and reducing or eliminating the inconvenient of traditional lacquers. Obtaining this way a lacquer of immediate effect , persistent, effective, easy to use, with no dermic or inhaling toxicity, no reentry period and no gas emissions to the atmosphere.

It is required 5 times less product than with other similar products that use solvents witch helps to obtain a 40% more economic profit.
Once applied there is no need to wait to reenter the treated area..
